Iyengar yoga is THE best yoga discipline for every body, no matter your physical ability or age. Isabel Is definitely the best Iyengar teacher in the area; she and Geoffrey, also a trained Iyengar teacher, run a variety of classes throughout the week, in their delightful, fully equipped Iyengar Yoga Studio.
Phil Collinge March 2018 After 10 years of reservations , my wife finally got me to attend Isabel’s class for the first time at the age of 64. I found her teaching very easy to follow, her patience enormous and the whole experience very enjoyable. I am now fitter, have higher core body strength, and have better body posture awareness than at any time in my life. My golf handicap is coming down too! I would recommend her teaching unreservedly.

Movement 4 Health is an amazing way to experience an authentic Iyengar yoga class together with a totally holistic experience. Taught by two incredible and extremely experienced practitioners, Isabel Jones and Geoffrey Fielding, the classes and courses are friendly, supportive and taught to the highest standards. I leave the classes feeling nurtured with mind and body fully restored and refreshed. For anyone looking to fully understand Iyengar Yoga or to look after your health and well-being in a truly fully supported way you should definitely check them out!!

Isabel and Geoffrey’s classes are a wonderfully supportive safe place to begin to explore the potential of Iyengar yoga where you are gently encouraged to challenge yourself at your own pace. The classes are like an oasis of peace away from the noise of everyday life!

Isabel is the light at the end of my tunnel…. Her classes, workshops & retreats never fail to challenge you physically, touch you emotionally & inspire you spiritually. Isabel & Geoffrey are a delightful couple who willingly share their special gift in the teaching they bring to each & every class. Their dedication & devotion to all things Iyengar allow you to blossom to your own potential under their watchful eye. Over my years of practice I have never been as inspired as I am by Isabel.

Claire, you’ve been a great and energetic support to both Geoffrey and I all these years, and to other students – must be 8 yrs now since you’ve been coming to classes and retreats. It’s been a dialogue, and I’ve learnt so much from you, the way you give to others and your knowledge of how to manage the physical challenges we have in learning this powerful subject, with such commitment, and unwavering positivity. I have attended Isabel’s yoga classes for many many years because she is the most generous and meticulous instructor I have ever had the pleasure of being taught by. A warm, friendly and inquisitive environment makes her classes a joy to learn yoga in. With such an eye for different physicalities she individualises the yoga to be appropriately challenging or recuperative for each individual.

Just posting up some comments from an evaluation research project commissioned by Nottinghamshire County Council of a series of classes run by Movement 4 Health, for older people in West Bridgford.
“My posture has improved, and I’ve found gardening and DIY easier, and as someone who had been unable to drive I was able to get back to Bowls and back behind the wheel again. It was really quite revelatory!!!.”

This project is still going wonderfully at West Bridgford Bowls Club on Musters Rd, sessions every wednesday morning open to all. This is part of our lead in the Rushcliffe Wellbeing Hub in partnership with Nottinghamshire’s Co-Production team.
